$71,616 which includes salary $63,665 - $70,274 and

About the role


TAFE NSW is currently recruiting Customer Service Representatives to be a part of the exciting launch of our Institute of Applied Technology.

The Institute of Applied Technology will be a flagship educational centre with state-of-the-art simulated workplace environments and maker spaces, equipping the next generation of trades workers with the skills fundamental to building smart cities of the future.


As a Customer Service Representative, you provide effective enquiry management and transactional support to the service delivery of the Institute of Applied Technology.


About You
You are warm and friendly with a strong work ethic and positive attitude. You have the ability to work well within a team environment and work independently. You will have impeccable communication skills both verbal and written.

You will have previous administration and customer service experience who shares the TAFE NSW Values of Integrity, Collaboration, Excellence and Customer First.

Targeted Question 1:

Outline your administration skills and experience supporting customer service activities including the use of office technology and Microsoft office programs such as word, excel and outlook.


Targeted Question 2:

Describe a situation where you had to handle a difficult customer and how you resolved the issue to their satisfaction.

What was your approach and what was the outcome?

This is a child-related position. A Working with Children Check is a prerequisite for anyone in child-related work. It involves a national criminal history check and review of findings of workplace misconduct.

For temporary positions, you will require a visa that gives you permission to work in Australia.


An eligibility list, valid for 18 months, may be created for this position, and position(s) of the same classification that subsequently becomes vacant, may be filled via this recruitment.
