We are seeking a suitably experienced Quality and Compliance Officer to join our team at Simply Helping Gippsland South and West on full-time basis.


The primary purpose of the role will be to ensure development, implementation and review of policies, procedures, processes and strategies to promote and maintain quality, governance and compliance and a culture of continuous improvement.

You will be also responsible to ensure that we comply with the current legislative and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of business initiatives to improve overall quality and compliance performance.
  • Prepare and lead all internal and external audits relating to NDIS and Aged Care
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate delivery of quality and compliance strategies.
  • Develop, monitor, review and implement Simply Helping National Head Office policies and procedures
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives as per the Aged Care Quality and NDIS Practice Standards
  • Ensure that all systems and processes within the company are updated and revised to meet legislative and regulatory changes
  • Lead and rollout implementation of compliance and quality initiatives
  • Support senior management in interpretation and implementation of new compliance and quality initiatives
  • Monitor and manage compliance with external contractual agreements and service providers.
  • Develop ongoing audit management systems, including documentation management and management of internal and external audit schedules
  • Facilitate regular compliance and quality meetings with the leadership team.
  • Proactively contribute to the development of a positive and productive team environment.
  • Other administrative duties as required by the role and management

Key Attributes:

  • Previous experience supporting compliance, quality and auditing function in a similar role in the Aged Care, Health or Disability industry.
  • Understanding of compliance, quality management systems and auditing processes in line with current legislative and regulatory setting.
  • Excellent timemanagement, attention to detail, creative thinking and problemsolving skills
  • Highly organised with efficient administrative skills
  • Excellent communication and relationshipbuilding skills
  • Any relevant qualification is desired.
$70,000-$80,000 Salary.
