This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Payroll Officer to join their team on a full-time and permanent basis.
About the role:
Reporting to the Payroll Manager the primary responsibilities includer:
- Full-function Payroll processing
- weekly and monthly pay cycles
- Processing of leave entitlements, deductions, and allowances
- Interpretation of Modern Awards and Agreements
- Processing of superannuation, PAYG and Payroll Tax
- Assisting with year end processes: payroll reconciliations, STP reporting and submission
- Processing of timesheets
- Assisting with various process improvements, projects, and admin tasks within the scope of the role.
About you:
To be successful for the role, you must demonstrate the following:
- Demonstrated experience in the role accountabilities
- Construction industry experience is highly advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and organisation skills
- Strong with systems
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
