    • Remuneration: Total remuneration range: $105,466 to $114,196 pa (HEW6) (inclusive of $89,120 to $96,497 salary pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading)
    • Location: Kelvin Grove (hybrid option available)
    • Open to: Current staff members of QUT who have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of the fixed-term appointment.     Who are we looking for?

    We are seeking a Senior Research Administration Assistant to join School of Nursing, Faculty of Health, Academic Division.

    The position will work closely with the End of Life Directions in Aged Care (ELDAC) project and the Palliative Care Education & Training Collaborative teams, incorporating the PEPA & PCC4U Projects, to ensure the aims, activities and outcomes of the projects are met in a timely and efficient manner.

    Established and emerging clinicians, researchers and educators from a range of health disciplines collaborate through CPC to improve the quality of health care provided to people across all stages of the cancer trajectory, as well as people living with a range of life-limiting conditions.

    The research activity within the Centre focuses on a broad range of contemporary health-care related issues including:

    • Health Services Innovation

    • Integrated Care Models

    • Health Workforce Development

    • Symptom Management

    What you need to succeed

    1. Education, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to completion of a bachelor's degree with two years relevant work-related experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training;
    2. Demonstrated experience with various administrative activities, ideally within a research environment;
    3. Demonstrated general organisational skills including the ability to manage time and high volume tasks efficiently and meet tight deadlines within the context of competing demands;
    4. Demonstrated digital literacy skills including intermediate-level skills in Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, email and internet;
    5. Demonstrated high level attention to detail in data entry, document handling, and data base applications;
    6. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and with both internal and external stakeholders;
    7. Proven ability to take initiative and to make a positive contribution within a team.
