SA - Adelaide Workers Compensation Full Time

Alongside this, you will be responsible for proactively and effectively manage all aspects of caseloads of worker's compensation claims within the SA legislation and compliance guidelines.

This will be a
Full-time
permanent position based in the
Adelaide office, with flexibility to work from home.


YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide workers compensation advice to stakeholders such as workers, employers and providers
  • Deliver personalised facetoface assistance to Seriously Injured Workers
  • Proactively proceed with appropriate case management for Seriously Injured Workers, aimed at their independence, improve their quality of life and return to work.
  • Ensure case management is in accordance with SA legislation and compliance guidelines
  • Proactively manage rehabilitation providers and approval of rehabilitation plans in accordance with EML's guidelines and agreed department and Return to Work SA standards

ABOUT YOU

  • Knowledge of the relevant worker's compensation legislation and regulations would be beneficial
  • Basic understanding of medical terminology is advantageous
  • High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Sound negotiation and influencing skills
  • Empathy and understanding for others
  • The ability to effectively listen and understand the needs of the customer and what is important to them to enable their recovery and return to work
