THE OPPORTUNITY, WHAT YOU WILL LEAD & GROW

  • Reporting to the Managing Director, this National Manager
  • Technical Service and Maintenance role is responsible for a large team (40+), managing managers who manage teams of service technicians and related customer service people, ensuring that the organisation understand, meet and exceed client needs with regard to technical service and installation of capital equipment.
  • This team balance immediate installation upon purchase, emergency maintenance and repair, and planned preventive maintenance to ensure that they meet and exceed revenue targets relating and embed strong client relationships.
  • This position will manage a team of managers and oversee 3rd party providers, who manage service technicians and technical experts across Australia and New Zealand, this position is ultimately responsible for equipment installation, preventive maintenance, inventory management for spare parts, effective management of warranty/exchange, emergency breakdown servicing and achieving revenue targets associated with planned preventive maintenance and other revenue streams from time to time.
  • This role will deliver outstanding client service, ensuring that the business exceeds client expectations in the delivery of services through prompt and reliable installation and responses to service calls, while liaising closely with the sales team to follow up leads and ensure a smooth introduction to colleagues where applicable.
  • You will be responsible for achieving revenue targets associated with preventive maintenance and sales leads and operate within budget for warranty/return/exchanges. You will manage a P&L in this position.
  • You will ensure a thorough level of training throughout the technical service and maintenance teams to ensure accurate and detailed service and maximise efficiency of the team by establishing processes for consistency across the business.
  • You will ensure multiskilling throughout the team so that so all staff are highly competent in the full product range.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role in the medical device industry with demonstrated leadership experience, working within a large team, managing managers, with experience managing a P&L.
  • Experience managing change and a track record of continuous improvement.
  • Ideally possess a working knowledge of ERP systems including Microsoft AX.
  • Australian work experience and full working rights with effective English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to travel regularly, around 3040% of the time.
