About the opportunity:


Reporting to the Director, Precinct Delivery and working closely with the Precinct Directors, the Place Investment Manager works within the precinct delivery teams to develop a strategic and proactive approach to place investment and partnerships.

You will ensure SRLA maximises the benefits of Victorian Government investment and optimises precinct outcomes by sharing knowledge, working with, and enabling activity by, key stakeholders.


Key accountabilities:


Develop dynamic strategies:

Identify, facilitate, and align place investment to realise precinct ambitions, working in partnership with councils, institutions, private sector and community stakeholders.


Forge collaborative partnerships:

By developing strategic and influential relationships with stakeholders across the SRLA portfolio and broader public sector to drive excellence and innovation, while managing associated relationship opportunity and risk.

Lead the design of critical programs and activities with partners: Deliver precinct jobs growth and ambition, maximise the impact of government contributions, creating networks to facilitate co-investment, and identifying relevant funding opportunities.

Contribute to wider SRLA effective stakeholder relationship management: Bringing a partnership focus, and contributing to broader communication and engagement plans.


Manage the place investment team:

Building a supportive and collaborative culture, and contributing to high performance program management, effective sharing of information, and timely and relevant program reporting.
