- The role of the Clinical Nurse Educator is to facilitate and support the development of the nursing workforce by planning, promoting, coordinating, implementing and evaluating education programs in the clinical setting/ward/unit.
- Ward 5D is a 32 bed General Medicine Ward specialising in Haematology and Oncology Care and the delivery of inpatient cancer therapies.
- In collaboration with the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) undertakes Nursing assessments, contributes to planning and coordinates the delivery of services of admitted patients to Ward 5D.
- Actively incorporates teaching, practice-based research, and quality activities within the role to improve standards of care.

- Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Agreement 2023 and Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Interim Agreement 2013
- Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse
- Current Tasmanian Working with Children Registration

1 * Permanent part time, day worker position working 12 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
1 * fixed term part time, day worker position working 12 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible until 6 January 2025
*notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant
Salary: $111, ,336 pro rata, per annum. Our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible
