The Inspector-General for Emergency Management (IGEM) is an independent statutory role established under the _Emergency Management Act 2013_ that provides assurance to government and the community in respect of emergency management arrangements in Victoria.

Position Details

  • Support the coordination, collection, collation and analysis of data as part of the evaluation and review program.
  • Contribute to the planning and conduct of system wide evaluations and reviews of emergency management sector capacity, capability and performance in support of sustainable improvement.
  • Support the identification of emergency management system performance issues, risks and trends.
  • Fixed term, fulltime VPS4 opportunity.

About the role


Reporting to the Manager Evaluation and Review, the Evaluation and Review Project Officer supports the coordination, collection, collation and analysis of data as part of the evaluation and review program and contributes to the planning and conduct of system wide evaluations and reviews of the emergency management sector.

This role is ideal for someone with:

  • Demonstrated project management skills and experience including document management, and project monitoring and reporting.
