As our People Experience Specialist, you'll be the heartbeat of our workplace culture and daily operations.

Day to Day

Office Experience

  • Oversee the maintenance of an inviting office space that exceeds the comfort of home, ensuring it's wellstocked, functional, and vibrant.
  • Collaborate closely with IT for seamless integration of facilities or equipment that enhances the Shippster experience, and coordinate special projects including potential office relocations.
  • Act as the ambassador of our workspace, setting a welcoming atmosphere for visitors, merchants, couriers, and team members in a manner that reflects our core values and culture.

Team Events & Engagement

  • Spearhead the comprehensive inoffice events agenda, from planning to execution and communication, creating buzz around activities like Tuesday lunches, Monthly gatherings, Fitness challenges, Annual celebrations, Quarterly Summits, Sales Initiatives, and the muchanticipated Annual Hackathon (Shipfest).
  • Own the responsibility for the excitement, annual scheduling, budget adherence, planning, and obtaining necessary stakeholder approvals.
  • Work in sync with the People & Culture (P&C) team to enrich Learning & Development endeavours and facilitate memorable team offsites.
  • Facilitate employee travel arrangements and owner of travel booking platform Navan

Culture & Communication

  • Administer company recognition initiatives, supported by P&C admin, that amplify our work culture, including but not limited to, celebrating birthdays, work anniversaries, and special acknowledgments for dedicated Shippsters.
  • Perfect the onboarding journey for new members, conducting comprehensive weekly office orientations, distributing swag packs, and handling merchandise.
  • Coordinate weekly All Hands meetings, and maintain steady internal communication streams like newsletters and significant employee milestones.
  • Continuously innovate our employee benefits package to align with our Employee Value Proposition (EVP), a task undertaken alongside the Head of P&C.
  • Propel our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) mission forward, concentrating on educational programs, inclusive initiatives, awareness campaigns, and related events, all in collaboration with the Head of P&C.

Executive Assistance

  • Day to day EA support for our CEO providing meticulous calendar management and scheduling services for the CEO, along with handling other executive team support needs as they arise.
  • Manage expense consolidation working closely with the Finance team to ensure all receipts are accounted for.

Our Ideal Shippster

  • Proven experience in office management, event planning, or a similar role within a fastpaced environment.
  • Strong organisational skills, with an ability to prioritise important projects and multitask with ease.
  • Stellar communication skills, exuding enthusiasm and professionalism.
  • Demonstrated commitment to promoting DEI initiatives.
  • Experience in providing EA support is a plus.
