Key Responsibilities:

Preventative and Corrective Maintenance:
Proficiency in both Preventative Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance is essential for keeping our equipment in optimal condition

Compliance and Safety:

Extensive knowledge of HACCP, GMP, safety standards, and food processing machinery, including conveyor belt systems

Post-Trade Experience:

A minimum of 2 years' post-trade experience as a Mechanical fitter is required

Mechanical Aptitude:

Demonstrated ability to "think on your feet" and possess sound mechanical aptitude to handle unforeseen situations and adapt to changing production requirements

Technical Expertise:

A qualified mechanical fitter with extensive experience in pneumatics, hydraulics, and some experience in fault-finding PLC systems. A restricted electrical license is a plus.

Machine Expertise:

Proven experience working with packaging machines, automation, labelling, and refrigeration systems

Hands-On Experience:

Proven experience working in a "hands-on" operational environment, actively participating in the maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery

CMMS Utilization:

Proficiency in the use of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems to issue spares and raise and complete work orders is essential for this role
