Company Background


Our client is an Australian grown and focused Not-for-Profit that focus on supporting a range of projects centred around bettering the lives and well-being of individuals across the country.


Due to a team restructuring, they are seeking an ambitious Accounts Payable Officer to join their finance team initially on a contract basis with a view to permanent employment.


The Role
As the AP Officer, you will initially focus on:

  • Processing and recording invoices and payments (mid-volume)
  • Preparing payment runs for approval
  • Managing vendor relationships
  • Managing company credit cards and expenses
  • Reconciling cash transactions
After settling into the role you will have the chance to be involved in:

  • Assisting with posting prepayment and accruals
  • Monthend balance sheet reconciliations
  • Maintaining fixed assets
  • Supporting the team through the yearend audit process

Your Background
To be considered for this AP Officer role you will have the following skills and attributes:

Immediate availability:


  • Preferably degree qualified in a relevant field
months of experience with Accounts Payable

  • Intermediate Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables)
  • A "selfstarter" with an inquisitive nature
  • Experience with Concur is highly regarded but not essential
