Disaster Solutions Australia (DSA) are seeking to recruit a professional Building & Cleaning Restoration Technician to join our dynamic, young and innovative company.


Dealing primarily in Insurance Building & Restoration, the technician is responsible for the day to day on site management of building and restoration projects following an insurance claim.


The main focus in the role will be dealing with Building Restoration and Make-Safe projects, focusing on Flood Restoration and Mould Remediation projects.

Although will not be limited to other functions of restoration as listed.

Role responsibilities include;

  • Flood restoration
  • Sewerage Restoration
  • Mould remediation
  • Fire/ Smoke damage restoration
  • Demolition & Strip-Out
  • Steam Cleaning

Key activities (include but are not limited to):

  • Liaising with clients, internal staff, trades and suppliers.
  • Prepare and document project inspection reports and inventory reports
  • Performing all areas of mitigation and restoration works as required
  • Attending and responding to flood damage, fire damage, sewerage ingress, demolition and mould project for domestic, industrial and commercial properties
  • Updating internal systems and client portals.

Other duties include:

  • Approaching all aspect of work being performed with safety and quality as the highest priority.
  • Working closely with Project Management/ Operations team.
  • Oncall duties required occasionally.
  • Overtime duties if and when required

All training will be provided to ensure that IICRC qualifications are achieved.


Any prior experience in a similar position and/ or carpet laying/ installation will be looked upon favourably, but is not essential.


Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$50, $65,000.00 per year
