Disaster Solutions Australia (DSA) are seeking to recruit a professional Cleaning Technician to join our team on a full-time basis in our Melbourne office.
Dealing primarily in Insurance Building & Restoration, the cleaning technician is responsible for the day to day on site management of cleaning projects.
The main focus in the role will be dealing with onsite management of cleaning services inclusive of pressure washing, dust control and mitigation, fire restoration and waste management services.
Role responsibilities include;
Commercial and Domestic Cleaning Services
Fire/ Smoke damage cleaning and restoration
Dust Control & Dust Management
Steam Cleaning
Waste Management Services
Key activities (include but are not limited to):
- Liaising with clients, internal staff, trades and suppliers.
- Prepare and document inspection and photo reports.
- Performing all areas of cleaning, mitigation and restoration works as required.
- Attending and responding to site cleaning projects for domestic, industrial and commercial properties.
- Updating internal operational and management systems.
Other duties include:
- Approaching all aspect of work being performed with safety and quality as the highest priority.
- Working closely with Project Management/ Operations team.
- Oncall duties required occasionally.
- Overtime duties if and when required

- A valid drivers license

- Adherence to project specification
- Hold a current Australian Drivers License
- Construction White Card
Any prior experience in a similar position and/ or carpet laying/ installation will be looked upon favourably, but is not essential.

$ $35.00 per hour
