About the role

We seek experienced Patient Services Assistants / Orderly to join our team on a full-time | part-time and casual (Relief) basis.

The role of a Patient Services Assistant / Orderly is vital in supporting the high-quality care of our clients by providing a friendly, safe, supportive and clean hospital environment.

You will be responsible for delivering
high-quality customer service to people from diverse backgrounds.

They perform a range of duties to ensure that the hygiene and cleanliness of the hospital is maintained at a high standard.

You will also assist in facilitating patient transfers between departments, bedmaking, preparing patient rooms for admission, cleaning post-discharge, and removing linen and waste.

Skills and experience

You must be available to work morning, day and evening shifts over seven days per week and, occasionally, night shift as required for annual leave cover.
You will possess Certificate III in Health Service Assistance.
Strong customer service focus and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
You must possess excellent time management skills to function effectively in a busy hospital environment.

The successful applicant must provide evidence of their qualifications.
