About the role:


Responsibilities:


  • Assisting in finalising Heads of Agreement.
  • Reviewing lease documents issued to landlords and from landlords and solicitors.
  • Liaising with property Legal team, preparing contract approval terms.
  • Comparing legal documents with the corporate Standard Lease.
  • Maintaining and updating database in relation to all new leases, relocations, expansions and lease renewals.
  • Liaise with Project management on handover dates, store open dates.
  • Assisting in business acquisitions.
  • Reporting and tracking lease negotiations, maintain spreadsheets and databases.

Skills and Experience

  • Solid experience in a paralegal capacity.
  • Exposure to commercial and or retail leasing
  • Solid working knowledge of leasing and related agreements across Australia.
