Job description:

Paxus is currently recruiting for 2x Cloud Experts to contract with our Federal Government client in Canberra.

You will be required to assist with building in house capability of modernised platforms and to build and support the cloud environment.

Responsibilities

  • Working with relevant technical teams to plan, design, and implement cloud and business solutions
  • Developing and implementing proofofconcept designs for executive
  • Analysing relevant business and software requirements for delivery in a cloud environment
  • Providing exceptional technical solutions that are within the Departments Azure and AWS enterprise pattern
  • Ensuring technical optimisation of the Department's cloud environments
  • Monitoring and reporting on the Azure environment
  • Networking the LAN, WAN and VPN networks
  • Liaising with ICT operational teams to coordinate implementation activities.

Skills Required:

  • Region Redundancy
  • Could Native Applications
  • Serverless;
- (e) Cloud Networking
  • VPC
  • AWS VPN
  • Web Application Firewall
  • AWS firewall
  • Hub and Spoke topology
  • Transit Gateway
  • Direct Connect;
- (f) Cloud Governance
  • ISM (Information Security Manual)
  • CIS (Center for Internet Security)
  • PSPF (Protective Security Policy Framework)
  • Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB).
  • Proven ability to work within a structured IT governance framework and deliver results that adhere to relevant Commonwealth standards and policies;
  • High level of management skills including the ability to lead and plan to produce high standard of results, on budget and within tight timeframes;
