Job description:

New contract opportunity available for an experienced Change Manager.

This is a 6 month contract initially with the option to extend and will be working for our highly regarded utilities client based in Newstead Brisbane.

This role also offers WFH flexibility.


Our client is undertaking a major digital transformation and as part of this program, will be implementing a new data and analytics solution.


As a Change Manager on this program, you will play a critical role in ensuring successful adoption and implementation of changes across the business processes, and technology.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and manage the detailed change plan / schedule as an integrated part of the project plan.
  • Deliver all elements of the stakeholder analysis, change and training needs analysis and planning, communications.
  • Develop a business readiness action plan that addresses the issues, risks and benefits of existing and proposed solutions and outlining business impacts.
  • Collaborate with various business stakeholders to effectively identify, prioritise and manage change impacts and to ensure the right engagement is occurring to support readiness objectives.
  • Prepare the reporting of the change management activities summary for the Project Executive Steering committee and other audiences.

Skills required:


  • Proven experience in a similar role leading and embedding change across complex IT projects.
  • Extensive experience leading a team to deliver change outcomes at a program stream level.
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across a broad range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience working effectively with internal and external resources (including vendors) to form a unified "one team" mindset with a common goal of realising benefits for the business and its employees.
  • Ability to operate at a strategic level and translate complex issues into simple and sustainable change plans.
  • Experience and knowledge in using organisational change management methodologies and tools (i.e. Prosci)
