People & Culture Support Officer supports all members of the People & Culture team in the delivery of high-quality reporting and HRIS optimisation.


Greyhound Racing Victoria is the statutory authority responsible for regulating, conducting and promoting greyhound racing in Victoria, a sport that annually generates around $400 million in economic activity and over $3 billion in wagering and directly involves over 15,000 people.

The People and Culture Support Officer will also be responsible for supporting recruitment, onboarding, and coordination of training events, enabling employees to contribute to the strategic goals and operational objectives in partnership with the wider team.


In a typical day, you will:

  • Maintain employee data
  • Action P&C operational tasks (within agreed timeframes and standards) to support the employee lifecycle
  • Assist with the administration, delivery, and maintenance of cyclical P&C processes (e.g., performance and development planning)
  • Prepare and analyse HR/Payroll data and create/maintain dashboards to support reporting requirements
  • Investigate, develop, and implement business process improvements (e.g., work practices and procedures) that further enhance functional efficiency and selfservice
  • Processing invoices, raising purchase orders, and onboarding suppliers
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support to the team

To ensure your success, you will have:

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Experience maintaining a contemporary HRIS
  • Experience developing and coordinating standard and ad hoc reports and dashboards
  • Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.)
  • Relevant postsecondary qualification in HR or relevant experience
  • Proven team player across organisational lines
  • Strong attention to detail and outcomes driven
