Our client is one of the largest motor vehicle distributors in the South Pacific region, boasting a selection of world-recognised franchises covering multiple industry segments. In addition to its retail services, our client also operates parts, service, and panel divisions, as well as a host of complementary associated enterprises.
Our client is looking to appoint a Branch Manager, who will oversee their operations in their Port Moresby branch in Papua New Guinea. This position reports to the company's General Manager and will require an individual with senior management experience. Candidates experienced in running operations in Pacific Island nations are encouraged to apply, however, this is not an essential pre-requisite.
Your major accountabilities will include:
To be successful in this role it is essential that you be able to demonstrate previous experience in a senior automotive role, whether that be in sales, fixed operations, or general management. PNG roles require a hands-on approach when it comes to management, so candidates who like to be hands-on will find this role a very good fit for their management and operational style.
The successful candidate will be offered a remuneration package consisting of a very generous retainer, plus performance incentives, vehicle, executive accommodation, insurance, club memberships, return flights and various other inclusions.
