Responsibilities for this position include:

  • Provide support the Procurement Team Leader, including the receipt, entry, procurement of company purchase orders to suppliers.
  • Update internal databases with order details (dates, vendors, quantities, discounts)
  • Maintain high levels of communications with Sales and Customer Service Teams
  • Expedite overdue purchase orders and maintain due dates in the system
  • Experience in International shipping coordination, ensuring cost efficiencies are met
  • Accurately maintain all documentation in accordance with company audit requirements
  • Building strong supplier relationships

ABOUT YOU
You'll be energetic, self-driven and motivated with great attention to detail and a can-do approach to challenges and tasks. Reliable and enthusiastic, your time management and attention to detail will ensure great outcomes within timeframes and expectations.

Having worked in a Purchasing role, you will already have strong time management skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, amazing customer service, and a natural ability to manage internal / external stakeholder relationships at all levels are also on your check list.


The other essentials we are looking for are:

  • High level of initiative
  • Excellent communication
  • Ability to work in a team

It would be ideal if you also had:

  • A background in the Fire or Safety industry
  • PRONTO knowledge
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft suite including intermediate knowledge of excel.
