Program Manager | Simpler for Stores

The Role
Reporting to the Simpler for Stores Lead, the Program Manager is responsible for responsible for the identification, development and successful delivery of a portfolio of business improvement initiatives across our retail business:

  • Supporting the the Endeavour Group's Retail Business BWS and Dan Murphy's 1600+ stores to evolve their operational and strategic practices
  • Initiate, lead and implement end to end business improvement opportunities for a wide range of retail changes working across the national store fleet.
  • Support the delivery of process change that challenges the cost of doing business, by identifying and valuing opportunities for improvement. This includes effectively collaborating with a broad range of key business stakeholders to support productivity model overlays, and ongoing performance convergence relative to budgeted / forecasted metrics.
  • Inspire, coach, support and develop supporting project team and business partners on best practices, ensuring that the overall team's workplan is delivered, with a pipeline of skills to support future team capability requirements.
  • An ability to work in an autonomous and selfpaced environment, whilst still being collaborative and seeking help where needed

What You'll be Doing

  • Lead the discovery across the business landscape to identify opportunities and develop a pipeline delivered by the program team.
  • Successful and sustainable delivery of people, process and system changes across multiple business units and brands
  • Manage projects within the program to time, budget and quality
  • Manage dependencies and project integration
  • Accountable for establishing and delivering business benefits against business cases
  • Manage and report on project costs, including expenditure and expected future cost outlay to realise benefits
  • Gaining and sustaining confidence of business customers in facilitating decisions that involve interfunctional trade offs and risks

About You

  • Experience in establishing Transformation and Business orientated programs of work
  • Project Management Certification (Prince 2 / PMP)
  • 6 years+ experience in a Project Management role
  • Extensive knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
  • Led successful and sustainable implementations of transformational and business orientated programs
  • Planning, problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to work through issues with complexity and guide others in the resolution of problems
  • Graduate, bachelor degree as a minimum
  • Strong coaching skills
  • Must have or willing to obtain RSA
  • Travel interstate and within state required
  • Tertiary education
  • Trained in Lean Six Sigma Methodology (Green or Black Belt).
  • Previous agile/scrum experience preferred not mandatory
