What's in it for you?


This role is primarily responsible for the implementation of the firm's business development (BD) strategy and operating model at the Regional (Oceania) level.

This role will work as a part of the regional layer of the Global Markets Activation function and work closely with the respective Regional Business Development Leader (BDL) to deliver on Region priorities and accountabilities as cascaded by Global and Area (Asia-Pac) Leadership.

The Regional BD Activation Leader will be a key conduit of information between the Executive and the Region layers to cascading global strategy and operating model (processes and activities) to the Oceania business.


Your key responsibilities

  • Team closely with the Oceania Business Development Leader to establish and deliver on business development priorities and accountabilities as cascaded by Asia-Pac and Global leadership.
  • Activate the BD strategy including BD resource alignment, account portfolios, team connectivity, managing budget, driving training and development activity and innovation initiatives
  • Work with the Regional Accounts Leader and BD leader to support account teams and Client Executives (CEs) to enable best practice sales and market activity
  • Work with the Oceania Markets Operations Leader to deliver a differential investment model for accounts through reporting and capability, access to tools and enablers that enhance account team performance and enable account growth
  • Connect and drive the local BD and Markets Activation communities, understand their needs and challenges and leverage proximity and relationships with global, APAC and other Regions to address them.

  • 10+ years of business development and marketing experience in the professional services arena;
  • Demonstrate success in building internal and external relationships
  • Excellent project management skills, proven team building and interpersonal communication and influencing skills
  • High versatility to align multiple stake holder agendas
  • Proven ability to resolve client/customer issues effectively and innovatively
  • Ability to interface with the most senior levels of the regional, global and APAC firm
  • Prior experience as a Client Management Leader, Account Management Leader, Business Development client Executive
  • Bachelor's/University degree, preferably in business or finance related discipline
