As an Associate, you will have the incredible opportunity to collaborate with diverse EY business lines, working alongside prominent clients in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Your role will be integral to building strong relationships and delivering exceptional legal services to our prestigious client groups.

At EY, we are passionate about the real estate industry and pride ourselves on our profound expertise in notable transactions involving real estate assets and projects throughout Australia.

Our team has extensive experience working with various stakeholders, including buyers, sellers, landowners, developers, financiers, investors, not-for-profits, landlords, and tenants.

As part of the broader EY Law Oceania network, we collaborate seamlessly with professionals covering core skill sets in general corporate and commercial law, employment law, digital and technology law, funds and financial services law.

Whilst being part of the EY Real Estate, Projects and Finance Law team, you will also have the rare opportunity to work closely with our Real Estate Advisory and Project Management Team (amongst others) in providing integrated solutions for our clients.

Some examples of recent transactions include the establishment of a major real estate property fund in the social infrastructure sector, a mixed use $150 million real estate development financing for a not-for-profit, a major acquisition program for the Victorian Government and pre-commitment leasing for a global pharmaceutical brand.

As our Associate - Property Law, your key responsibilities include working in the following areas:

  • Capital transactions, including acquisitions and disposals of real estate assets
  • Commercial, industrial and retail leasing
  • Real estate due diligence
  • Real Estate development and investments

You will also have the opportunity to work with our Projects and Finance practice in relation to major real estate and project finance transactions.
