Description

In this role, you will:

Manage Gateway review processes and activities in Queensland, including working with project teams to agree on scope and timing of the reviews, selecting review teams with relevant skills and experience and providing expert advice and support to project teams throughout the process.

Manage Gateway review registration, database as well as regular reviews and updates to the Gateway review templates and resources.

Provide advice, information and support to Industry, Investment and Commercial officers on procurement, engagement and management of contractors, advisors and secondees.

Liaise, negotiate, develop and maintain positive working relationships and partnerships with internal and external clients and stakeholders, including Project Owners, reviewers, contractors and Gateway Units in other jurisdictions.

Assist in preparing complex reports, submissions, briefing notes, commentary, policy, presentations, documents, publications and/or correspondence, often within tight timeframes.

Work collegiately with other analysts across Treasury to deliver expert, whole of treasury advice, which supports whole of government processes.

What experience you will bring:

- stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
- written and verbal communication skills
- an ability to assess work priorities and deliver outcomes within tight timeframes.
- experience in Government procurement would be highly regarded.

There are no mandatory qualifications for the role.

However, a degree or postgraduate studies in public policy, commerce, economics, finance or a related discipline would be well regarded.
