Our client is a successful West Australian based Mining Contractor with extensive involvement in Maintenance, Contract Mining and Drill and Blast.

They have a requirement for a Maintenance Superintendent to join the team and provide leadership and direction to the crews in the safe achievement of mining and production targets.

The successful applicant will have strong leadership skills and a proven history of successfully managing mobile maintenance earthmoving equipment.

About the Role:


  • A strong safety focus and the ability to lead by example to achieve all safe work practices.
  • Proven history of delivering excellent maintenance results on earthmoving equipment in a busy mining environment.
  • The ability to ensure timely and costeffective maintenance occurs in line with the scope of works.
  • Proven leadership skills to provide guidance, support, and direction to your team.
  • Able to identify and implement opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and costeffectiveness within functional areas.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive client relations.
  • The ongoing ability to develop strategies for the team to ensure a strong team and customerfocused culture.

Job Requirements:


  • Minimum 5 years in a similar role is essential.
  • Understanding of best practice Maintenance Management practices and workflows.
  • Proven ability to influence and mentor.
  • IT/Computer Proficiency essential.
  • The ability to manage the development, implementation, and ongoing improvement of the site continuous improvement program.
  • Technical expertise and/or trade qualifications in Heavy Duty Maintenance.
