We are recruiting on behalf of a Federal Government Department that is a vital member of Australia's national security community. This Department works across the full spectrum of operations required of contemporary signals intelligence and security agencies.

This Department is seeking experienced ICT Security Specialist well versed within System Certifications or Advice and Assesment to join their team for a long term opportunity within a secure working environment.

SFIA Skills required for this role are as follows;

INAS 5
SCTY 5
CORE 4
SCAD 3

Major Responsibilities

Systems Certifications

Experience identifying and applying security controls to large scale, complex capabilities and/or developing ICT Security analytics
Experience architecting complex systems

Advice and Assesment

Lead and manage ICT system security control assessments, liaising with project and capability stakeholders to achieve milestones.
Lead the development and review of ICT Security policy and documentation, and implement practices, technologies and governance in accordance with the agency's security strategy.
Lead on ICT system security documentation including architectures, designs and configurations to reduce the risk of capabilities subject to assessment

Key Experience required

Systems Certifications

Liaise with multiple project and capability stakeholders to assist in design and documentation of ICT system security controls
Contribute to design of ICT Security policy and documentation, and implement practices, technologies and governance.
Analyse and assess ICT system security documentation and configuration, including the use of vulnerability assessment tools.

Advice and Assesment

Experience identifying, influencing and assessing the selection and implementation of security controls to enterprise and bespoke ICT systems in an enterprise risk management framework.
Experience producing ICT security documentation including threat and risk assessments.
Experience managing and performing technical assessments to determine control effectiveness.
