An exciting casual opportunity is available for highly motivated, enthusiastic and experienced Orderlies to join our team. This role will provide exceptional non-clinical patient care, supporting the nursing team and contributing to an industry-leading environment.

Key functions include:

Provide exceptional customer/patient service by safely transporting/lifting patients, collecting and delivering specimens, equipment and consumables and by restocking supplies and consumables.
Prioritise patient safety by ensuring patient transportation is safe and in good working order, and by being an active member of the emergency response team.
Act as a valued member of an interdisciplinary team by promoting a professional and positive team culture
Demonstrate professional practice by working according to Healthscope's policies and processes
Supports Healthscope's safety and quality improvement and compliance with the National Safety & Quality Healthcare Standards.

About You

You will be professional with excellent interpersonal skills and a patient-centric focus with highly developed customer service skills and the ability to prioritise and organise work, with mínimal supervision.

To be successful in this role, you will hold:

Experience in a hospital environment
Excellent customer service, organisational and communication skills
Highlevel attention to detail
Flexibility, reliability, and ability to work under pressure
Certificate III in Health Support Services or equivalent desired
