Permanent Full-Time position working 76 hours per fortnight

Salary range from $79,000 to $87,900 plus superannuation
Work independently and as part of a small team

We're looking for an ambitious Infrastructure Technical Officer who is keen to contribute to our community.

About the role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional Infrastructure Technical Officer with excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.

Your role is vital to liaise with internal and external stakeholders regarding all the technical infrastructure activities such as:

Coordinating traffic, parking and drainage investigations, surveys and designs.
Assisting with preparing specifications for Capital Works, including tender and quotes.

Skills and Experience
We would like to hear from high performers with exceptional communication skills and the desire to exceed expectations.

You will liaise with internal and external customers professionally and courteously, attend staff meetings and functions and positively contribute to the organisational culture.

You will have the following skills:

Traffic Management tasks, including organising annual traffic counts as per the schedule, reporting on these and ensuring they are safely addressed.
Deliver high standards of customer service and advice in response to resident and other stakeholder queries in line with the Town's Customer Service Charter.

Qualifications:

Qualification diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent or demonstrated relevant
Ability to interpret and design civil engineering plans.
Welldeveloped customer service skills, organisational and time management skills.
Valid Driver's License.
