Eagers Automotive are currently seeking a highly motivated

Group Fixed Operations Manager to support our dealership network in

Western Australia.


The primary purpose of this position is to improve efficiency and profitability in the Fixed Operations function across the state.

This will be achieved by working closely with Dealer Principals, Service and Parts Managers to ensure productivity is maximised, customer experience is exceptional and team culture is at the forefront of everything we do.


As a member of the WA Leadership Team, it is integral that this position plays an active role in supporting the achievement of the strategies of the Leadership Team.

Integral to the success of this role will be ensuring these strategies are actioned throughout the business and working actively with each dealership to improve fixed operations business performance through driving targeted operational initiatives.


Duties will include:


  • Work closely with dealer principals and service managers to improve business performance, productivity, and efficiency within the fixed operations of a dealership.
  • Ensure appropriate operational reporting and internal controls are in place across all dealerships and monitor key operating criteria, to facilitate the early indication of potential concerns in order to formulate timely and proactive solutions.
  • Analyse, assess and report on operational Key Performance Indicators for all dealerships.
  • Review financial performance and provide guidance on corrective actions to improve operational performance where required.
  • Analyse dealership results including dealer principal reviews and state dealership comparisons.
  • Deliver servicerelated training programs where required.
  • Identify potential supervisors and managers and actively develop succession plans.
  • Provide on the job coaching to managers and supervisors.
  • Drive and champion a safetyfirst culture across the business.
  • Promote a culture of diversity and inclusion.
  • Work with dealerships to ensure achievement in a range of areas

Ideally you will possess:

  • A strong understanding of the automotive industry especially as it relates to service and parts department operations.
  • Significant experience in a leadership role in either Parts or Service departments
  • Strong knowledge of ERA and associated business information systems.
  • Strong financial acumen including analysing of financial data, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Thorough knowledge of vehicle servicing techniques, including light vehicle and heavy diesel across multiple brands.
  • Supporter and champion of a safetyfirst culture and knowledge of specific WHS requirements for service and parts departments.
  • Highly developed leadership and communication ability.
  • Values focused with a strong level of integrity and ethical decision making
