THE ROLE


The role of the National Business Manager at Home Coffee is to transform the growth trajectory of Coffee in our lead customers, Coles & Woolworths.

Grinders in retail has played a back seat in the commercial contribution of coffee up until recently.

Off the back of our strong brand and double-digit growth this role will unlock the full potential of the portfolio to double the revenue in the next 5 years.


Reporting to the Head of Sales - At Home for Coffee, your role is to ensure that customer plans are executed in line with agreed company and customer strategies and initiatives.

It's vital that you build strong customer partnerships with the intention to generate value for all parties.


You will work closely with the buying team for Coles & Woolworths to ensure that we achieve and maximise negotiated outcomes and in turn increase revenue.

Day to day, you will be responsible for shaping the growth agenda within the Woolworths & Coles business in the creation and implementation of a promotional and trading program that delivers against our category growth metrics.


Key Responsibilities Include:


  • Business Results ensure the achievement of full year financial objectives by ensuring all key deliverables
  • Work closely with all CCEP business units to ensure best practice is provided and maintained.
  • Be the voice of the retailer and the category by sharing the latest insight and opportunities
  • Ownership & development of the Coles & Woolworths strategy, mapping out customer business plans. Ensure plans are transformed into actions as agreed
  • Proactively manage Grinders P&L via insight led trading decisions.
  • Daily/Weekly maintenance of promotional planning tools to optimise the plan for all parties. Submission of promotional detail to Coles & Woolworths via relevant systems. Coordinate operational details for new line submissions.
  • Clear routines to manage forecasting and monitoring customer demand to build into the S&OP process
  • Manage customer supply risks and take appropriate action.
  • With the support of the Category Development Manager develop best in class customer reviews utilizing internal and external insights to deliver desired outcome to generate category value for both parties.
  • Lead Field communications via the Weekly Bulletin, Monthly Red planning, posting updates and participate on Workplace
