    Description

    Trade Assistant/Welder

    • Welding exp preferred
    • Metal Fabrication exp preferred – not essential
    • Mon to Thursday only – 6.30 am to 5.00 pm
    • Neg $$$$ + overtime + paid breaks (neg)


    About the Role
    Manufacturing and installing safety fencing/barriers and/or machine guards. You name it, these guys can produce it. They supply Australia wide for factories, laboratories, cattle yards and more. Due to expansion and the recent retirement of a long term employee, they're offering you a career in an industry that will always be in demand.

    Duties:

    • Read drawings & specifications
    • Prepare raw materials using cutting & forming machines
    • General fabrication/welding – training provided
    • Prepare jobs for despatch and installation
    • Assist with on-site installations, when required
    • General warehouse duties

    Skills and Experience:

    • Exp in metal fabrication and/or welding – desirable
    • Welding (Mig & Tig) – desirable but not essential
    • Drivers Licence – essential
    • Only Aust Cit & Permanent residents considered
    • The ability to read drawings and specifications
    • Proficient with the use of power tools – essential
    • Fit and healthy (some lifting involved)
    • Team player with a desire to progress
