- Designing, coding, testing, deploying, and maintaining high quality mobile application that meet the needs of our users.
- Keeping our production application stable and healthy.
- Performing code reviews.
- Providing technical mentoring and guidance to less experienced members of the team.
- Contributing to technical design & discussions.
- Engaging with the wider native mobile community across the organisation, identifying opportunities to share and learn.
- An appreciation of software engineering principles and a can-do attitude with an ability to own problems and see things through.
- Demonstrated experience in building iOS apps using Swift (Kotlin is a plus)
- Demonstrated experience with Declarative UI on iOS using SwiftUI
- A passion for iOS and an intrigue in Android
- Sound knowledge of software design patterns and best practices for software development
- Demonstrated experience using common testing practices
- Demonstrated understanding of common mobile application architectures
- Active contribution to technical decision-making process
- Looks at tricky situations through a solutions-focused lens
