Origin are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our new and exciting Future Fuels team. The position can be based in either, BNE, MEL or SYD Origin Office.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Business Development Manager will be dedicated to supporting the evolution of Origin's strategy for emerging hydrogen use cases including selection of an appropriate business model tailored to each product's value chain and customer needs, business cases & product offerings and driving the adoption of hydrogen solutions for Australian domestic market customers.

More about the role;

Key contributor the design and implementation of hydrogen products, customer deployments and investment proposals
Developing a profitable financial model for hydrogen products and services
Support joint business planning with key internal and external stakeholders to align on desired timeframes and KPI outcomes
Identifying and progressing hydrogen ecosystem partnerships
Collaborate with internal Origin teams such as Origin Zero to ensure coordinated approach to customers.
Advocate for hydrogen with customers and industry and train customer facing Origin teams to educate customers about Origin hydrogen solutions

ABOUT YOU
You'll need to be driven, energetic, and have proven ability galvanising shared objectives and goals. You will be considered self-motivated and build successful relationships - both with customers and stakeholders. Consider yourself a customer centric, strategic team player with the ability to deliver.

More about you;

Strong experience in developing and implementing business cases and business models for energy or industrial products
Customer centric focus able to make timely and responsive actions to resolve customer concerns in alignment with expectations
Foster a results driven culture across own area of responsibility
Identify risks and develop mitigation and control plans; support continuous improvement
Understanding of financial principles, including (P&L's, ROI and NPV's) to explain how solutions can add value to the customer's business
