About the Role

Join us as an Outage Planner in Newcastle, playing a pivotal role in ensuring project success through effective planning & scheduling, cost management, change control, and risk management for assigned projects or outages.

Guide project processes and governance, adhering strictly to G&D project controls guidelines.

This role will be site-based during outages (2-3 times a year), primarily supporting operations in Eraring, Shoalhaven and other power stations as required.

Key responsibilities incilude:

Facilitate the planning and preparation of outage delivery schedules, ensuring timely reporting of progress, adequate resource planning, and accurate cost forecasting
Prepare accurate reports for project/program managers, incorporating critical path analysis and strategic mitigation strategies for scheduling, resources, and costs
Analyse contractor backing data, schedules, and cost reports to optimize project outcomes
Collaborate with project/program managers in the planning process, contributing to the development of schedules, budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans

About You

Bring your industry-specific background in outages, shutdowns, or maintenance planning, revealing a solid grasp of Critical Path Analysis, Earned Value Management, and project forecasting.

Demonstrate an unwavering commitment to Health, Safety, and Environment performance and improvement, embodying a proactive approach to project excellence.

Possess relevant tertiary qualifications and trade skills, coupled with advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Microsoft Projects, and desirable experience in Primavera P6.
