Description

Role and Responsibilities

Opening of Garden Centre and managing day-to-day duties and operations
Operating heavy machinery and loading deliveries
Maintain sales yard and truck presentation & cleanliness
Deliver garden and landscaping supplies to customers, generally in the Melbourne Metro Area
Drive a medium rigid store truck and a diesel Forklift
ave experience driving a front-end loader

Hours: 6.30 am to 5 pm Mon to Friday and 7.30 am to 4 pm Sunday.

Skills and Experience:

Make and answer phone calls for ordering and for orders.
Cash handling and use of credit card machine
Great communication and people skills
Experience or knowledge in the industry
Fit and able to lift at least 30kg

Qualifications and Education Requirements

HR Truck and Forklift Licence preferred
1-2 years of relevant experience in retail sales
Wheel loader Licence an advantage but not imperative

Preferred Skills

Great customer service skills and the ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
Computer knowledge

Additional Notes: This position reports to the general manager and is the key contributor to the overall success of the business. |
