THE OPPORTUNITY:
This is a permanent full-time position, based in our Corporate Office in West Perth.

There will be a requirement to travel on a regular and periodic basis to our Pilgangoora Lithium Operation, which is located 120km south east of Port Hedland in the Pilbara region.


Reporting to the Senior Contracts Specialist, you will be responsible for the end to end management of major operational contracts.

This includes effectively tendering, negotiating, awarding and on-going administration of contracts for supply of goods and services to the Company.


Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Management of Operational Contracts and Commercial support to the Contract owners
  • Management of Contractor monthly claims processes
  • Manage monthly contract meetings and facilitate actions
  • Negotiation, drafting, approval and execution of operational contracts and variations
  • Tendering, Evaluating, approval and execution of servicerelated Operational contracts
  • Accurate reporting and maintenance of the Company Contracts Management System
  • Management of Contractor Insurances and other contract obligations

ABOUT YOU:

  • Proven experience in the daytoday management of operational contracts, particularly in large scale open pit mining contracts and BOO style contracts
  • You are a thorough and methodical professional, who thrives on process improvements and is able to work in a dynamic and fastpaced environment
  • You have significant experience in a Contracts role within the resources sector
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an emphasis on negotiating and execution
  • Previous experience in the mining, resources sector or heavy industry
  • Pronto experience highly regarded
  • Tertiary qualification, ideally in commercial or legal discipline highly regarded
  • WA C class driver's license
