THE OPPORTUNITY:

The role reports directly to the Manager Corporate Affairs and Sustainability.

You will have the opportunity to oversee a wide range of content development to support the implementation of Pilbara Minerals' Communications Strategy and positively influence the Company's reputation.

This is a permanent position based in Perth with travel to the Pilbara region as required.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Work with the Corporate Affairs Manager to develop and implement proactive communications campaigns and activities and manage Pilbara Minerals' brand.
  • Draft and coordinate public market communications including ASX announcements, quarterly reports, annual reports, press releases, and other investor relations materials.
  • Write and edit content for external electronic and print communications, including the website, internet, external publications, and presentations.
  • Liaison with relevant graphic designers, printers and mail houses, and other suppliers as required.
  • Research and draft public position statements, briefing materials, and stakeholder engagement plans as required.
  • Speech writing.
  • Coordinate participation in external stakeholder events
  • Media relations and support.
  • Provide highquality advice and support to the business in respect of communications and brand.
  • Maintain brand integrity across company marketing initiatives and communications.
  • Represent the Company and its interests at events.
  • Stay abreast of emerging issues and trends that are likely to impact the Company.

ABOUT YOU:


  • 8+ years of experience in corporate communications or external affairs
  • Proven experience developing ASX announcements and reports.
  • Proven track record of developing and delivering communications strategies and campaigns.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including a demonstrated ability to clearly convey complex technical information.
  • Experience in developing marketing content and managing multiple channels, such as social media, company website, and other online platforms.
  • Proactive attitude with high ethical standards and accountability.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment.
