About the Team
The HR Partnerships and Employee Relations team is responsible for the development and implementation of a range of strategically focused human resource policy and practice framework.
Specialist staff are responsible for providing a high level of strategic advice in relation to Employee Relations, Change Management, Industrial Relations, Workforce Planning and HR Business Services.
About the Role
The Head, HR Partnerships works with the existing workforce and its leaders, coaching and advising them through current state matters and preparing them for future challenges that are anticipated to affect the University's people and its enterprise.
This includes strategy, workforce planning, talent and performance management and leadership development.The role plays an integral part in grounding the University's strategic plan and the operational plans of its divisions.
It coaches and consults with senior leaders and sets the standard among the University's people for a strong and positive workplace culture.
A large part of the role involves advising and supporting the Senior HR Partners as they work with divisional senior leaders and School Managers to deal with people related issues.
This will from time to time, require advocacy on behalf of employees, in order to ensure that employees have a strong voice through to senior decision makers.
About You
You are a passionate and performance-driven senior HR leader with a relevant qualification in human resources management, law, or psychology with extensive experience at a senior level.
