As the Level Crossing Removal Projects continue to deliver a safer and more efficient train network, the Metro Projects team leading these large-scale projects is expanding to respond to current and future works.
We have an exciting opportunity for an
Electrical Design Review Manager to join the team.
The Electrical Design Review Manager will lead the team which assures the Electrical designs of the Level Crossing Removals on behalf of Metro to ensure the safety of employees, contractors and passengers whilst ensuring that the Metro operating system is not compromised throughout the project life cycle.
You will lead a team of Electrical Design Review Engineers, including the work force planning, estimating and issues resolution ensuring appropriate planning and provision of effective and timely review services of reports and designs submitted by the Level Crossing Removal Alliances in accordance with the MTM Design Assurance Procedure (L1-CHE-PRO-045).
The role will require liaison and co-ordination of design related matters with members of the Level Crossing Removal Alliance teams as well as many other internal and external key stakeholders.

About You
- Tertiary qualification in Electrical engineering or equivalent
- 5 to 10 years' experience in Engineering and Rail
- 5+ years' experience with stakeholder engagement across multi disciplinary organisations.
- Demonstrable experience in workforce planning
- Ability to effectively communicate to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to think at a Systems level and integrate the 1,500V DC Traction, Essential Services Distribution System (ESDS) and HV Distribution System
