The Role:
You will play a pivotal role in a large upgrade & migration project of a key financial system at the University.

Please note this is a hybrid role where you would be required to be on site at the university 3 days per week.

What you'll be doing:
In this initial contract finishing in October 2024, you will be working closely with internal subject matter experts to update the University's internal financial system that will be hosted on TechnologyOne. Using qTest and Jira, you will conduct end to end testing to ensure that the final software solution is successfully integrated and upgraded whilst being responsible for documentation and reviews.

You will work on a project that encompasses system testing, system integration testing (more than 45 integration points), data migration to the new version of the product, and extensive User Acceptance testing (UAT) with the integrated systems. System and Integration testing will be done on a continuous basis and will require regression testing phases before the UAT.

Experience required:
You will have at least 3 years of experience with manual testing, with a mix of functional and technical testing using Postman. You like to work in a hands-on environment and have strong verbal and written communication skills in order to communicate with both internal and external stakeholders.

Desirably, you will have experience with Jira, qTest, or Postman and would have worked on enterprise resource planning or financial systems previously. If not, we would still love to hear from you.
