Role as Procurement Lead:


  • As our Procurement Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the success of our Albury to Parkes (A2P) rail project.

You will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing procurement strategies to ensure costefficiency and project timelines. Managing supplier relationships and negotiating contracts to secure the best terms and quality.
  • Company interface with all Martinus subcontractors, Liaise and negotiate with internal and external clients to ensure 'best for the project' results.
  • Ensure effective liaison and feedback is provided to the contracts & procurement team in the management of project packages.
  • Overseeing procurement processes, from vendor selection to delivery.
  • Collaborating with crossfunctional teams to align procurement with project goals.
  • Identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

What We're Looking For:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in the rail or transportation industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in a lead role on largescale construction projects specific to logistics and/or materials control.
  • The ability to supervise and maintain KPIs
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities.
  • Leadership and team management capabilities.
  • A commitment to safety and compliance with industry regulations.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
