- As our Procurement Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the success of our Albury to Parkes (A2P) rail project.
You will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing procurement strategies to ensure costefficiency and project timelines. Managing supplier relationships and negotiating contracts to secure the best terms and quality.
- Company interface with all Martinus subcontractors, Liaise and negotiate with internal and external clients to ensure 'best for the project' results.
- Ensure effective liaison and feedback is provided to the contracts & procurement team in the management of project packages.
- Overseeing procurement processes, from vendor selection to delivery.
- Collaborating with crossfunctional teams to align procurement with project goals.
- Identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
What We're Looking For:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in the rail or transportation industry.
- Demonstrated experience in a lead role on largescale construction projects specific to logistics and/or materials control.
- The ability to supervise and maintain KPIs
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Leadership and team management capabilities.
- A commitment to safety and compliance with industry regulations.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
