The Position

St John of God Geelong Hospital has opportunities enthusiastic
ED Consultants to join their dynamic FACEM lead team. Our ED is open form each day.

Excellent exposure to wide variety of pathologies in a mixed Emergency with16,000 patients per year, with approximately 15% paediatric presentations.
Inpatient services include a 12 bed ICU, 16 bed CCU, Special Care Nursery and 13 theatres.
ACEMaccredited for up to 6 months advanced training in ED (linked with University Hospital Geelong).
There is a robust referral roster for General Surgery, General Medicine Orthopaedics and Intensive Care with close relationships with all inpatients at University Hospital Geelong

Emergency registrars who are in the ACEM training program.
Eligible for registration as a medical practitioner with the medical board of Australia (AHPRA)
