The Opportunity

The Accountabilities

  • Develop and deliver in person or virtual technology training programs for employees and customers, ensuring that they are effective, relevant, and engaging
  • Assess the training needs of employees and customers to determine the appropriate training programs and materials that are required
  • Create training materials such as user manuals, video tutorials, online training modules, and instructorled presentations to support the delivery of training programs
  • Provide technical support and assistance to trainees during and after the training sessions, including troubleshooting technical issues, answering questions, and providing guidance on how to use the technology
  • Stay uptodate with the latest developments in technology and incorporate this knowledge into the training programs
  • Develop and maintain a repository of training resources, such as training manuals, documentation, and instructional videos, to support ongoing learning and development
  • Play a key role in embedding and coordinating the endtoend IT experience for new starters and existing staff, identifying opportunities and efficiencies

The Ingredients for Success
Just like you can't make a Tim Tam without chocolate, there are a few essential ingredients we need for this role:

  • Experience working in the technology industry, and a deep understanding of industry trends and developments
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in a related field such as Information Technology, Computer Science, Education, or a related field. Additionally, relevant certifications such as Certified Technical Trainer (CTT+) or Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) can be beneficial
  • Experience in designing, developing, and delivering training programs using various instructional design models and methodologies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with trainees, explain complex technical concepts, and provide feedback and guidance.
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills to deliver training sessions in a clear, engaging, and interactive manner.
  • Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other training technology to manage and deliver training programs.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changes in technology and training methods.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess training needs, evaluate training effectiveness, and continuously improve training programs.
  • Experience in video creation and editing is highly desirable
