Category Manager - Energy, is sought to join their team and play a pivotal role in enhancing energy management practices and contributing to their commitment to sustainability.

Our client is a leading retail property group with a diverse portfolio of shopping centres across Australia.

Dedicated to creating exceptional experiences for their customers while fostering a culture of sustainability and innovation, they are looking for a talented professional to lead their energy category management efforts.

The Category Manager - Energy will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of energy management across the client's portfolio of shopping centres.

The role involves developing and executing energy management strategies, identifying opportunities to optimize energy consumption, and collaborating with internal teams and external partners to drive sustainability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement comprehensive energy management strategies aligned with our client's sustainability goals.
Analyse energy consumption data, identify trends, and recommend measures to reduce energy usage and costs.
Collaborate with property management teams to implement energyefficient technologies and practices within each shopping centre.
Lead procurement efforts for energyrelated services and products, ensuring costeffectiveness and sustainability.
Stay updated with industry trends and regulatory changes in the energy sector to ensure compliance and innovation.
Establish and nurture relationships with energy service providers, government agencies, and industry organizations.
Prepare regular reports and presentations on energy management initiatives, progress, and outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Energy Management, Sustainability, Engineering, Business, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
Proven experience (58+ years) in energy management, category management, or related roles.
Strong understanding of energy efficiency technologies, renewable energy sources, and sustainability best practices.
Excellent data analysis skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Experience in project management and crossfunctional collaboration.
Knowledge of relevant energy regulations and compliance standards.
