As Product Manager you'd have national responsibility for the sales, growth, and technical assistance of the product groups and customers/suppliers for which you're responsible, and you'd be field based with the freedom to manage your own diary and customers as you see fit.


Key responsibilities include:

Identify, develop, and manage customer relationships proactively.
Manage relationships with existing principals including scheduling of meetings, visits etc.
Have a forward-thinking strategic focus on new principal identification and development.
Manage pipeline of transactions and sales - considering optimal timing & structuring.
On-going management and development of key projects that drive the business development of the product and industry group.
Produce a weekly analytical review of actual to forecast sales, margins and profitability.
Report monthly on variance analysis on key financial performance ratios and indicators.
Provide accurate and informed budget and forecast information annually.


Skills/experience required:

Degree in chemistry or pharmaceutical-related field.
Active knowledge of global trends in pharmaceutical industry.
Highly skilled in customer service/account management.
Ability to problem solve and assist with customer solutions.
Technical sales skills.
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to less technical individuals in a compelling manner
People and communication skills is key
