Business Development Representative

Sydney CBD Location

12 Month Contract

$98K + Super + OTE of up to $140K


Cox Purtell is currently partnering with a Global SaaS organisation that sits at the forefront of technology in the creative space.

They currently sit on the fortune 100 list of top employers globally

They are currently seeking a passionate Business Development Rep to join their sales team for a 12-month contract. For the right person, there is great potential that it could extend or convert to Perm.


The BDR plays a crucial role in the early stages of the sales cycle, and you will be responsible for sourcing, identifying and qualifying opportunities through inbound leads and through targeted outbound campaigns.

Working alongside a team of Account Executives, you will be responsible for creating and delivering the Go-To-Market strategy and ensuring all customers receive an industry leading customer experience with every interaction.


The role is working full time, Monday - Friday and we require someone that is based in Sydney and able to come into their CBD offices at least twice per week on Tuesdays & Thursdays.

What You'll Do

You will be responsible for managing all inbound leads - identifying their needs, qualifying potential opportunities
Focus on contacting and qualifying prospects in existing customers' accounts
Develop and nurture long term relationships with your clients helping address their needs and challenges
Generate high quality pipeline with the propensity to close
Work to individual quota, achieve SLAs for MQL's
Manage all CRM activity relating to your accounts
Effectively utilise a variety of channels and tools such as social media, internet, web-based tools & outbound calling

What You Need To Succeed

1-2 years' experience in Sales/Business Development
Experience in the Technology/SaaS sector is preferred but not essential
Exemplify personal drive, determination, process excellence, and the highest of ethical standards.
Have a proven track record in in Business Development
Have proven personal success in sales or deep working knowledge of sales cycle processes
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and persuasive skills essential
