About the role

Are you a qualified Automotive Mechanic or Auto Electrician with a passion for offering excellent customer service and looking for a career change? You will have mechanical aptitude along with experience in auto electrical or vehicle air-conditioning - although refrigeration experience is ideal, along with the ability to work flexible hours, including participating in an on-call roster.

The role will involve working in the field, including routine troubleshooting, testing, repairs, service and maintenance on transport Refrigeration units, across a number of brands.

Key Responsibilities:

A high level of communication skills (oral and written)

Knowledge of quality assurance procedures

Ability to take ownership of problems following through to resolution

Self-motivated individual who is proactive, professional, punctual, well presented with a can-do attitude

Ability to work unsupervised and be part of a close-knit team

Dedicated to high quality EH&S and Ethical standards

Essential Requirements:

Experience with Diesel engines, Auto Electrical systems and Automotive Air conditioning systems

Certificate 3 Automotive mechanical or Auto Electrical

ARC refrigerant handling licence – preferred

Current and valid Australian driver's licence
