Community Service Administration Assistant, Clerk Grade 3/4, Bankstown Community Corrections

  • Located in Bankstown, Sydney
  • Clerk Grade 3/4, $79,032 pa $86,539pa plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading
  • Ongoing Fulltime role

Your Role


At Community Corrections, we aim to reduce the impact of crime on the community by effectively case managing offenders to achieve resettlement and successful order completion.

The purpose of this role is the administer the Community Service work program and assist offenders in successful completion of Court based orders.

Community Service work provides an opportunity to give back to the community.

We're excited to welcome a highly motivated Administration Assistant
to facilitate and provide administrative support of the Community Service Order operations within our Bankstown office.


What you'll do


This role requires successful applicants to complete the community service training and hold a current driver's licence and the willingness to drive within NSW.

There are extensive training opportunities and promotional opportunities on progression. If you enjoy administrative work, supporting team members and liaising across multiple stakeholders then this work will interest you


What we are looking for


Applicants will need to have sound knowledge of, and/or the ability to learn the philosophy and objectives of the Community Service Order scheme and relevant acts and regulations.

Knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety issues, and the ability to undertake inspections to establish suitability of the agency for Community Service Work will also be required.

Ability to work in a positive way with a variety of people, including those on Court orders to complete Community Service, a variety of community agency staff, community volunteers, and internal stakeholders from management to Community Correction's officers is a key characteristic of the role.


Essential requirements

  • Successful completion of the community service training.
  • Current driver's licence and have a willingness/ability to drive within NSW
