As they navigate through an exciting phase of growth, they're seeking a dynamic Assistant Development Manager to join our team.

About the role:
Join the development team in this newly created role to assist with the construction of over 600 townhouses. You will work closely with the Development Manager, and a part-time ADM, to manage multiple builder partnerships effectively. Your primary responsibility will involve overseeing the development of townhouses, with exposure to other built-form projects including apartments.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with architects, internal sales, internal marketing, and partner builders to ensure project alignment.
- Review build prices and set sales prices in coordination with the development team.
- Attend construction meetings with partner builders and address onsite issues promptly.
- Oversee safety compliance and work closely with safety consultants.
- Conduct preplaster, final, and defect inspections, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Assists with settlements efficiently.
- Assist in drafting purchaser and construction contracts and reviewing variations.
- Coordinate civil design with the internal land development team, including engineering design reviews.
- Support town planning activities, with the opportunity to develop skills in this area.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Property, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or other relevant discipline.
- Project management and design experience preferred.
- Previous project experience working on town house or apartment developments.
- Ability to work autonomously, to execute multiple tasks simultaneously and to work to tight programs.
- Stakeholder/builder management and conflict resolution essential.
- Must have a thirst for knowledge and drive to deliver quality projects.
