About the role:

Join the development team in this newly created role to assist with the construction of over 600 townhouses. You will work closely with the Development Manager, and a part-time ADM, to manage multiple builder partnerships effectively. Your primary responsibility will involve overseeing the development of townhouses, with exposure to other built-form projects including apartments.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Collaborate with architects, internal sales, internal marketing, and partner builders to ensure project alignment.
Review build prices and set sales prices in coordination with the development team.
Attend construction meetings with partner builders and address onsite issues promptly.
Oversee safety compliance and work closely with safety consultants.
Conduct preplaster, final, and defect inspections, ensuring quality standards are met.
Assists with settlements efficiently.
Assist in drafting purchaser and construction contracts and reviewing variations.
Coordinate civil design with the internal land development team, including engineering design reviews.
Support town planning activities, with the opportunity to develop skills in this area.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Property, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or other relevant discipline.
Project management and design experience preferred.
Previous project experience working on town house or apartment developments.
Ability to work autonomously, to execute multiple tasks simultaneously and to work to tight programs.
Stakeholder/builder management and conflict resolution essential.
Must have a thirst for knowledge and drive to deliver quality projects.
